Policy for Rutiko
Privacy policy
In short
- Your habits, days and notes never leave your phone, except in Android's own backup, which we can't see.
- Health Connect data is read only for habits you link, and stays on your phone.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. You choose what it may use in Settings.
- There are no accounts, and we don't sell data.
1. Who we are
Rutiko is made by Syaafi Labs (Syaafi Labs Enterprise). Questions about this policy: support@syaafilabs.com.
2. Your habits
Your habits, their days, notes, reminders and settings are kept in Rutiko's private storage on your phone. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we never see them.
They are included in Android's own backup to your Google account (if backup is on in your phone's settings) and in phone-to-phone transfer, so a new phone gets them back. That backup is between your phone and Google; we can't read it.
You can also save a backup file, choose a folder for automatic backups, or export a CSV file. These files go where you choose and are not protected by the app lock: anyone with them can read your habits and notes.
If you import from Loop Habit Tracker, the file you choose is read on your phone; nothing from it is uploaded or kept apart from the habits, days and notes it adds.
3. Health Connect
If you switch on "Fill in from Health Connect" for a habit, Rutiko asks Health Connect for that one kind of data: steps, distance, exercise sessions, sleep sessions or hydration. It reads the daily totals to fill that habit in. It never writes to Health Connect.
What it reads stays on your phone: it isn't uploaded, shared, sold or used for ads or analytics. If you also allow reading while the app is closed, it reads about every 30 minutes, so widgets and reminders know when a goal is already met.
You can stop it any time in Health Connect, or by switching it off on the habit.
4. Reminders, widgets and the app lock
Reminders, the timer and widgets work on your phone. If you turn on the app lock, Rutiko uses your phone's own screen lock; it never sees your fingerprint, face or PIN.
5. Permissions
Notifications (optional): asked the first time you set a reminder. Alarms & reminders (optional): lets reminders come at the exact minute. Health Connect (optional): only the kinds of data you link. Biometric prompt: only for the app lock, if you turn it on; your phone checks your fingerprint, face or PIN and only tells Rutiko whether it matched.
The app has no storage permission. Backup and export files go only where you choose with Android's own file screens.
6. Feedback
If you send feedback from Settings, we receive your message, its type, your email if you give it, the app version, Android version, phone model and language. We use it only to answer you and improve Rutiko, keep it for up to 12 months, and never sell or share it. Your IP address isn't stored with it.
7. Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and some US states), you are asked for consent first. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. A Premium subscription in the app turns ads off.

8. Purchases
Premium is a subscription (US$2 a month or US$20 a year) sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment and the renewal, and you can cancel any time in Google Play. Rutiko only learns whether your subscription is active.
9. Children
Rutiko isn't directed at children under 13.
10. Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
