Policy for Isolo
Privacy policy
In short
- Your photos never leave your phone.
- Faces are processed only on the phone and are never used to identify anyone.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. You choose what it may use in Settings.
- There are no accounts, and we don't sell data.
1. Who we are
Isolo is made by Syaafi Labs (Syaafi Labs Enterprise). Questions about this policy: support@syaafilabs.com.
2. Your photos
The photos you pick or share into Isolo are cut out by AI models that run on your phone. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Results are saved where you choose (Pictures/Isolo).
While you edit a photo, the app keeps a private copy of it and your changes, so you can come back to the edit. They are deleted when you start a new photo, or after 7 days. A batch keeps access to the photos you picked (or a private copy of photos shared in) and small masks of each, until you discard it or for up to 7 days.
3. Faces
To give people's hair a finer edge, the app finds faces with Google's ML Kit, on your phone. Face data is never stored, never sent anywhere, and never used to identify anyone.
4. Photo information
Saved photos keep the date they were taken, so they sort correctly in your gallery. Location and camera details are removed.
5. Permissions
Notifications (optional): to show a batch's progress and tell you when it's done. The app has no access to your gallery or files beyond the photos you pick or share.
6. Google Play services and ML Kit
Finding the subject and faces uses Google's ML Kit, delivered by Google Play services. ML Kit may send Google information about how it performs (such as device and app details), never your photos.
7. Feedback
If you send feedback from Settings, we receive your message, its type, your email if you give it, the app version, Android version, phone model and language. We use it only to answer you and improve Isolo, keep it for up to 12 months, and never sell or share it. Your IP address isn't stored with it.
8. Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and some US states), you are asked for consent first. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. A Premium subscription in the app turns ads off.

9. Purchases
Premium is a subscription (US$2 a month or US$20 a year) sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment and the renewal, and you can cancel any time in Google Play. Isolo only learns whether your subscription is active.
10. Children
Isolo isn't directed at children under 13.

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
