Privacy policy

Kleebo · Last updated [DATE]

In short

  • Your photos and videos never leave your phone.
  • Your packs go to WhatsApp or Telegram only when you add or send them.
  • Faces and people are processed only on the phone and are never used to identify anyone.
  • The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. You choose what it may use in Settings.
  • There are no accounts, and we don't sell data.

1. Who we are

Kleebo is made by Syaafi Labs (Syaafi Labs Enterprise). Questions about this policy: support@syaafilabs.com.

2. Your photos and videos

The photos and videos you pick, share in or take with the camera are made into stickers by AI models that run on your phone. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.

While you make a sticker, the app keeps a private copy of what it needs (the photo, or the video's frames) and your changes, so you can come back to it. They are deleted when the sticker is added, discarded, or after 7 days. Clips from the camera are recorded without sound and are not saved to your gallery.

3. Your sticker packs

Packs and their stickers are kept in the app's private storage on your phone. They go along with Android's phone-to-phone transfer to a new phone, but are not put in Google's cloud backup. A backup file is made only when you ask, and is saved where you choose.

Uninstalling Kleebo or clearing its data deletes your packs.

4. Sending packs to chat apps

When you add a pack to WhatsApp, WhatsApp reads that pack's stickers, names and emoji from the app, on your phone. Only WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business can read them; the app checks every request.

When you send a pack to Telegram, the stickers are handed to the Telegram app on your phone, which uploads them to make a pack on your Telegram account. What happens there is covered by Telegram's own privacy policy, as WhatsApp's is for WhatsApp.

5. Faces and people

To cut people out (including from every frame of a clip) and give hair a finer edge, the app finds people and faces with AI models and Google's ML Kit, on your phone. This data is never stored, never sent anywhere, and never used to identify anyone.

6. Permissions

Camera (optional): only when you open the camera, to take a photo or record a short clip. There is no microphone access.

Notifications (optional): to show an animated sticker's progress and tell you when it's ready. The app has no access to your gallery or files beyond what you pick or share.

7. Google Play services and ML Kit

Finding pets, things and faces uses Google's ML Kit, delivered by Google Play services. ML Kit may send Google information about how it performs (such as device and app details), never your photos or videos.

8. Feedback

If you send feedback from Settings, we receive your message, its type, your email if you give it, the app version, Android version, phone model and language. We use it only to answer you and improve Kleebo, keep it for up to 12 months, and never sell or share it. Your IP address isn't stored with it.

9. Ads

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and some US states), you are asked for consent first. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Ad privacy choices. A Premium subscription in the app turns ads off.

10. Purchases

Premium is a subscription (US$2 a month or US$20 a year) sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment and the renewal, and you can cancel any time in Google Play. Kleebo only learns whether your subscription is active.

11. Children

Kleebo isn't directed at children under 13.

12. Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
