Does it need internet?

Only to get the text readers. Google Play services downloads the Latin one when the app is installed, and each other writing system (a few MB) the first time you choose it. After that, reading works offline.

Which languages can it read?

Languages written in Latin letters (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Vietnamese and many more), Chinese, Hindi and other Devanagari languages, Japanese and Korean. Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Cyrillic and handwriting aren't supported.

Are camera photos saved to my gallery?

No. A small copy is kept inside the app with that scan in your history, or deleted right away if history is off.

How do I delete my scans?

Delete one scan, or all of them, from History. You can also turn off Keep history in Settings; the app then asks whether to delete the scans already kept.
