Kurto
Trim a video, cut out the parts you don't want, or join several clips into one. Whenever it can, Kurto copies the video instead of re-compressing it, and it tells you before you save.
- Free · ad-free from US$2/month
- No quality loss when it can be avoided
- Android 10 or newer
What it does
Cut out any part
Split the timeline wherever you like and remove the boring or shaky bits, or someone who shouldn't be in it. Removed parts stay visible, so you can bring them back.
No quality loss
A part that starts on a keyframe is copied as it is, not re-compressed. The save sheet says "No quality loss" before you save, and the saved screen says what really happened.
Exact cuts
A cut between keyframes stays exactly where you put it. Or move it to the keyframe just before, to copy everything; the app says how far.
Join clips
Put up to 20 videos together, in any order, each trimmed first. Clips from the same phone are joined without quality loss; if one differs, the app tells you which and why.
Rotate and remove sound
Turn a sideways video the right way up and drop its sound. On a copied video, rotating only changes its orientation flag.
Precise controls
Step frame by frame, type a time to the hundredth of a second, pinch to zoom the timeline, and play the result before you save.
Three steps
Pick a video
One to cut, or several to join, from your gallery, or share them straight in from another app.
Cut and join
Trim the ends, split and remove parts, put clips in order. Undo any step.
Save or share
The MP4 is saved to Movies/Kurto in the background. Play it or share it.

Questions
Something missing? Send feedback →Are my videos uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your phone, and your originals stay as they were.
What does "no quality loss" mean?
The video is copied piece by piece instead of being decoded and compressed again, so the picture is exactly the original. It's possible when each part starts on a keyframe; the save sheet tells you before you save.
Why was my join re-made?
Clips can only be joined by copying when they were recorded the same way: the same size, orientation and format. The app names the clip that differs, and makes the joined video again at the original quality.
Is there a watermark?
No. There's no watermark and no limit, in the free version too.
