What it does

01

From a guess to a booked price

Start with the usual items for a Malay, Chinese, Indian or simple wedding, all without prices. Price them as you book: one amount, or per pax, per table or per piece, with service charge, SST and a tip.

02

Every payment, with its due date

Deposits, instalments and the balance, as an amount, a percentage or "the rest". See what's overdue, due this week and later, and get a reminder before each one.

03

Who pays for what

The couple, the bride's parents, the groom's parents or a sponsor: split any item, record money promised and received, and see how much you still need from your own pocket.

04

Prices that follow the guest count

Give each event a rough guest count. Per-pax catering and door gifts follow it, so when your e-kad's RSVPs come in, change one number and the budget updates.

05

A gift book for duit salam

After the majlis, go through the envelopes fast with a big keypad and the usual amounts. Search every wedding on your phone years later.

06

Plan together, if you like

Make a passkey with your fingerprint to share the wedding with your partner and parents, each on their own phone, kept in step within seconds. Without signing in, everything works on one phone.

Three steps

  1. Set up in a minute

Pick the language and the kind of wedding, your events and dates, the currency and a budget if you have one.

  2. Price as you book

Turn guesses into booked prices and plan each item's payments.

  3. Stay on top of it

Home shows what's still to pay, what's due soon, the next event's guest count and what came in as gifts.

Privacy

  • If you sign in to plan together, the wedding is kept on our own server, encrypted, only for the people you invite.
  • It is in Android's own backup to your Google account, which we never see.
  • The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some data. You can change your ad choices in Settings.

Do I need an account?

No. Kahwinku works fully on one phone without signing in. You only make a passkey (your fingerprint, face or screen lock) if you want to plan together with your partner or family.

Is there a limit on items or gifts?

No. Every feature is free, with no limits. Premium only removes the ads.

Does paying a deposit change my budget?

No. A payment lowers what you still owe; it never adds to what the wedding costs.

Who can see our gift book?

Only you, and the people you invite to plan together. It is never in the PDF or a spreadsheet unless you choose it.
