01Cut out in a second or twoFinds people, pets and products and cuts them out at the photo's full size. People's hair gets a finer pass of its own.
02Tap to pickSeveral things in the photo? Tap to keep or drop each one, or tap something it missed to add it.
03Touch-up brushErase leftover background or bring parts back by hand. Strokes snap to the photo's edges, with a magnifier under your finger.
04Any backgroundTransparent, pure white for shop listings, any colour, a blur of the photo's own background, or another photo.
05Ready for shops and stickersSquare, 4:5 or 3:4 with the product filling 85% of the frame, a soft shadow, or a sticker outline. JPG or PNG.

Privacy

  • Cut-outs are made on your phone. Photos are never uploaded.
  • Faces are found only on the phone, to give people's hair a finer edge. They are never stored, sent, or used to identify anyone.
  • Saved photos keep the date they were taken; location and camera details are removed.
  • The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some data. You can change your ad choices in Settings.

No. The cut-out is made on your phone, and your photos never leave it.

Why does it need Google Play services?

The tool that finds the subject is Google's ML Kit, which Google Play services keeps on your phone. Once it's there, cutting out works without internet.

Can I use the cut-outs in my shop?

Yes. There's no watermark and no limit, the white is pure white, and the square, 4:5 and 3:4 frames put the product at 85% of the frame.
