What it does

Swipe · 6
01Three levelsSmallest for uploads and messaging, Balanced for email, High quality for printing.
02Max sizeSet a limit of 1, 2, 5 or 10 MB, or your own. The app tries each level from High quality down until the file fits, and tells you if it can't.
03Several PDFs at oncePick a batch of PDFs and compress them in one go, then share all the results together.
04Text stays sharpOnly the pictures inside are recompressed. Text, fonts and drawings are copied untouched, so text stays sharp and selectable.
05Clear resultsEach file shows its size before and after. If a PDF can't get smaller, the app says so and saves nothing.
06Share PDFs inShare an email attachment or a file from your file manager straight into the app.

Three steps

  1. Choose PDFs

Pick one or more, or share them in from another app.

  2. Pick a level or a size

Choose Smallest, Balanced or High quality, or a maximum size in MB.

  3. Compress and share

Smaller copies are saved to Documents/Compress PDF. Your originals stay as they were.

Privacy

  • PDFs are compressed on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Your originals are never changed. Smaller copies are saved as new files.
  • The app only sees the PDFs you pick or share with it.
  • The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some data. You can change your ad choices in Settings.

Levels
Smallest (96 dpi), Balanced (150 dpi) or High quality (220 dpi).

Typical result
Scanned and photo-heavy PDFs often shrink by 60–90%. Text-only PDFs barely shrink.
Will my text get blurry?

No. Only the pictures inside the PDF are recompressed. Text, fonts and drawings are copied as they are.

Why didn't my PDF get smaller?

Most of a PDF's size is usually its pictures, so a PDF that is mostly text has little to shrink. If the result isn't smaller, the app keeps your original and saves nothing. A PDF already under your size limit is skipped too.

What if it can't reach my size limit?

It saves the smallest version it could make and tells you it couldn't get under the limit.

Can it compress password-protected PDFs?

Not if the PDF needs a password to open. Those aren't supported.
